Storytime and Open Play
Service Description
Join us for the very first Stories at FunVille—a new series where stories, imagination and play come together! For this special free kickoff event, children’s author Melinda González will share her book, Curious Mind and Dancing Feet. This joyful story celebrates creativity, confidence and the wonderful ways every child’s mind can be unique. Families may arrive beginning at 4:00 PM to enjoy open play. Storytime will begin at 4:30 PM, followed by more time to play and an opportunity to meet the author. EVENT DETAILS Wednesday, September 16, 2026 4:00–5:30 PM Storytime begins at 4:30 PM WHAT’S INCLUDED • Open play • Special author-led storytime • An opportunity to meet the author This experience is best suited for children ages 5–9, but children of all ages are welcome to attend. ADMISSION This kickoff event is completely free, but advance registration is required. Space is limited, so please reserve a spot for each participating child. IMPORTANT REMINDERS • Socks are required for all children and adults. • A signed FunVille waiver is required before entering the play area. Completing it before arrival will help make check-in faster. • Children must remain supervised by an accompanying adult throughout the event. Come play, listen and imagine with us!

Cancellation Policy
FunVille is happy to offer free classes, workshops, and special events to our community! Because space is limited, we ask that families reserve only spots they plan to use. Credit Card Required There is no charge to register for this event. A valid credit card is required to hold your reservation, but your card will not be charged at the time of booking. Cancellations Plans change — we understand! If you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation at least 48 hours before the scheduled event so we can make your spot available to another family. Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are completely free. Late Cancellations & No-Shows Reservations canceled less than 48 hours before the event, as well as reservations where the participant does not attend, may be charged a $25 late cancellation/no-show fee per reserved participant. Please Note * Registration is required for each participating child. * Reservations are not transferable to another event or date. * Arriving late does not guarantee participation if the scheduled activity has already begun. * FunVille reserves the right to waive a fee in extenuating circumstances. * If FunVille cancels or reschedules an event, no cancellation or no-show fee will apply.
